<<< It is a supple and fleshy wine at the same time as powerful, with a good length in the mouth, balance and finesse.

Located in the town of Jau-Dignac-et-Loirac, in the north of the Médoc, Château Poitevin is a Cru Bourgeois which has a vineyard of 41 hectares. It takes its name from René Poitevin who acquired it in the 1950s, when the estate only covered a few hectares. His son Georges took over shortly after. He continues in the line of his father: work in the vines but vinification in a cooperative cellar. In 1991, Guillaume, embodying the third generation, made his first vinification, the start of a new era. 6 years later, the estate is perfectly equipped to process the entire harvest. By the way, Guillaume Poitevin opts for reasoned pest management in the vines and the buildings are designed - water recovery, energy - for optimal preservation of Nature.
