Glinavos, 'Paleokerisio', 2018 (500ml)
Paleokerisio, meaning "old fashioned" is a traditional style semi-sparkling wine of the region. Debina, Vlahiko, and Bekari grapes go through skin contact before fermentation. Off-dry, with flavors of baked pear/apple, orange peels, and mountain spices.
Cascina degli Ulivi, 'Bellotti Bianco Semplicemente', 2017 (750ml)
The Natural wine godfather Stefano Bellotti made us fall in love with this affordable bottle of Cortese. His kids now run the estate and are killing it. Super bright, mineral Cortese. Naturally fermented and aged in in large Acacia wood tanks.
Bérèche et Fils, Champagne Brut Reserve, NV (750ml)
Bérêche & Fils avoids malolactic fermentation with their wines, but more importantly, they prefer to ferment their wines in barrel. On this Brut Réserve, 30% of the wine comes from wines in a perpetual blending system over multiple vintages.
La Boheme Festejar VDF Sparkling Rose 2018 (750ml)
Given the bright ruby red that shines as you drink this rosé pet-nat it's reasonable to find zippy cranberry and wild red raspberry. What makes this a touch esoteric are some fresh herbs alongside some nods towards sweet baking spices.
Ruge, Prosecco Colfondo 'L'Essenziale', NV (750ml)
Go on and shake things up (literally, shake this bottle) and get into this cloudy, ancient styling of Glera. Though there is a natural and lovely fruitiness to this wine it is in fact bone dry and would be nice to have with a snack.
Bérèche et Fils, Champagne 'Campania Remensis Rosé', NV (750ml)
This is a rose that comes from the far east of the Champagne region and it is dominated by Pinot Noir. You'll find a rather pale hue to this wine that brings forth bright red fruit and minerality that hints at the compsition of the terroir.
