Huet makes damn fine Chenin Blanc. In fact, wine writers have called it THE best. Gaston Huet believes the Clos du Bourg is the greatest of Vouvray due to the shallowest, stoniest soils, which intensify the minerality and generous texture of this wine.

Fabien Duveau likes to say he was born on a barrel. He represents the 8th generation of his family to make wine, so it is safe to say that is in his blood. Possibly the only single parcel Chenin from Poyeux, the limestone soil is evident on the palate.
