Maria and Sepp Muster, Opok, 2018 (750ml)
Muster is all about that healthy soil, the Opok bottling is a quite delicious and intriguing natural wine made up of the grapes Welschriesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Gelber Muskateller, Morillon (Chardonnay). Good with schnitzel or grilled vegetables.
Domaine A. & P. de Villaine, Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise 'La Fortune', 2018 (750ml)
The Master of DRC, Aubert De Villaine, delivers a structured and vivid expression of pinot noir. 25 year-old vines grown over clay and limestone are fermented and aged in wooden tanks to preserve tannins and structure.
Joseph Dorbon, Arbois Blanc Vieilles Vignes 'Cuvee des Moyne', 2014 (750ml)
From a single parcel of 40- to 70-year-old vines, this is 80% Chardonnay and 20% Savagnin. The grapes are cofermented, and the wine spends 30 to 36 months sous voile. Dense and resinous with the strong acidity to carry that weight.
Foillard, Morgon, Corcelette, 2018 (750ml)
80 year-old Gamay vines grown on sandstone produce a Morgon of structure and complexity. Deep flavors of red fruit, spice and mineral energy remain in balance. These are age worthy Beaujolais, yet so delicious you can’t help but drink them young.
Fogarty, Santa Cruz Pinot Noir, 2014 (750ml)
An old school producer of Pinot Noir who discovered the magic of Santa Cruz and its terroir long before most people. Fogarty came his passion from Burgundy, so he tries to fashion California Pinot that expresses the grape's natural grace and elegance.
Edmunds St. John, Gamay Noir 'Bone Jolly', 2018 (750ml)
Steve Edmunds noticed that this Californian terroir had an affinity with Morgon, except that it was more like...a desert. But it works! Morgon with a touch of sunshine sounds pretty good to us, and that's exactly how this wine tastes.
Finca Torremilanos, Ribera del Duero 'Torremilanos' Crianza, 2015 (750ml)
This Ribera del Duero Crianza is comprised of 95% Tempranillo, 5% Cabernet, grown in deep soils of limestone, sand and clay, silex and quartz on a slope 2 km south of the Duero River. Pair with meats, stews, and heartier dishes.
Yves Martin, Sancerre Chavignol, 2019 (375ml)
