Maxime Troncy 'Sourire Au Naturel' 2020 (750ml)
Beautiful classic Beaujolais from this young producer. He inherited these Gamay vines from his father and continues to farm them in a low intervention natural style. Bright red fruit on the nose and a lovely gentle aftertaste with light tannins.
Pierre Cotton, Côtes de Brouilly '100% Cotton' 2019 (750ml)
Pierre Cotton works with only indigenous yeast, implements semi-carbonic maceration in cement before elevage in both foudre and barrique. Only neutral oak is used and he never fines or filters before bottling. No sulfur is added.
Domaine De La Grand'Cour (Dutraive), Fleurie, 2019 (750ml)
Dutraive, a leader in organic farming practices in the region, has fondly been referred to by peers as "the heart of Beaujolais". This Fleurie is subtly fruity with notes of dark cherries and violet, with some exotic spices and a little rusticity. >>>
Foillard, Morgon Cuvee 3.14, 2016 (750ml)
Jean and Agnès Foillard took over his father’s domaine in 1980, and soon thereafter began to make Kermit Lynch customers very happy. The biggest part of their vineyards are planted on the Côte du Py, the famed slope outside the town of Villié-Morgon >>>
Foillard, Morgon, Corcelette, 2018 (750ml)
80 year-old Gamay vines grown on sandstone produce a Morgon of structure and complexity. Deep flavors of red fruit, spice and mineral energy remain in balance. These are age worthy Beaujolais, yet so delicious you can’t help but drink them young.
