Les Matheny, Arbois Chardonnay, 2014 (750ml)
Quite a few parcels comprise Les Matheny’s Chardonnay, and Emeric vinifies each one separately, deciding on the final blend only after each individual wine develops its personality with time in barrel—in this case, well-worn 600-liter tonneaux.
Domaine du Pelican (d'Angerville), Arbois Savagnin Ouille, 2016 (750ml)
Many Jura wines are made in an oxidative style, this wine is not. Clean, fresh and focused. Fermented and aged for ten months, aromatic citrus rind and peach notes invigorates the palate with hints of salt, iodine, preserved lemon and stone fruit.
Benedicte et Stéphane Tissot, Arbois Poulsard VV 2018 (750ml)
Tissot is one of the best known producers in the Jura and is much loved by all fans of this obscure region. Perhaps no grape is more emblematic of the gorgeous mountain juice that the Jura produces than Poulsard, with its oozing charm
Joseph Dorbon, Arbois Blanc Vieilles Vignes 'Cuvee des Moyne', 2014 (750ml)
From a single parcel of 40- to 70-year-old vines, this is 80% Chardonnay and 20% Savagnin. The grapes are cofermented, and the wine spends 30 to 36 months sous voile. Dense and resinous with the strong acidity to carry that weight.
