Ad Vinum 'Levat' VDF Rose, 2018 (750ml)
'Levat' (Tavel in reverse) by Sebastien 'Catouille' Chatillon, formerly wine wizard at Le Chateaubriand in Paris who has since moved to Vallabrix in the Gard, where he makes this dark and delicious blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Picpoul & Clairette.
Chantereves, L’Intrus, VDP, 2017 (750ml)
100% Syrah from the Southern Rhone Valley that has great fruit and is light on its feet. Everything you want, blueberry, spice, and raspberry notes that finish up beautifully. This wine is full of life and wouldn't mind being next to a roasted chicken.
La Ferme Des Sept Lunes, Saint Joseph, 2013 (750ml)
From the excellent northern rhone vintage. La Ferme des Sept Lunes has developed somewhat of a cult status for their natural bottlings that blow up with blue and black fruit and an edge of pickley goodness. If you're into it, you're really into it.
Bois de Boursan, Chateauneuf-du-Pape 'Tradition' Rouge, 2016 (750ml)
Earthy aromas with notes of pepper, herbs, dark fruits and garrigue. Plenty of fruit on the palate, full with an ample tannic grip on the finish. A classic, old-school beauty that will need short-term cellaring and improves in the glass.
